Derby Steak House
The Derby, located in downtown Butte, America - 'the Flats' to the natives - offers you the Best Little Steakhouse this side of Texas! All of our steaks are cut right here - 'fresh daily.' We grind all of our own burger from the steak trimmin's. Our roast beef is cooked here. The pork ribs for bar-b-que are smoked here. All of our soup and sauces are homemade right here too!
We all try hard to bring to you 'our customer', something very special. Our vegetables are always fresh as is our salmon. We probably serve the most tender and succulent lobster tail you have ever eaten.
The Derby has won the Beef Backer Award several times. Also voted 'Best of the Best' in southwestern Montana for four years running for the Best Overall Restaurant, the Best Steaks and the Best Service. And are we Proud!

The Derby is located north of the interstate toward uptown Butte about 1/2 mile. You can't miss us, just follow your nose. Roll down your windows and when it smells great - you're here!
