133rd Commemoration of the Battle of the Big Hole
The Battle of the Big Hole was fought on August 9 and 10, 1877 between the U.S. military and the Nez Perce. Ceremonies, demonstrations, traditional Nez Perce music and park rangers help visitors understand and remember the Battle. Living history dealing with the U.S. Army will be involved. Infantry as well as some Cavalry.
