Christmas Stroll

The annual Uptown Christmas Stroll is a free event uptown in Butte to kick-off the Holiday shopping season. The event features a parade with high school marching bands, the arrival of Santa Claus, hay rides, art and craft exhibit (indoors), music and vendors on the street and in the historic courthouse. The stroll takes place in the center of the uptown business district, including the county courthouse, antique stores, bars and restaurants.
Purchase a stroll button designed by a local school age artist to win prizes from the local merchants.

Driving Directions
Christmas Stroll will be held in historic uptown Butte through the streets of the central business district. Parade starts at the courthouse on West Granite; the same area covered by the stroll. Take the Montana Street Highway Exit 126 and head north.
