At Great Divide Wildlands Institute, tours are offered on lands administered by the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, Bureau of Land Management, and on private land. Customized tours are available for ghost towns, wildflowers, gold panning, viewing scenery, outdoor photography, and other options.

Standard Lewis & Clark tours include a one-day trip from Beaverhead Rock to the Continental Divide. Also, a two-day trip through the Salmon River area to Lost Trail Pass and back to Dillon via the route Clark and Sacagawea took on the return trip. Horseback riding options are available.
