Pioneer Outfitter
Pioneer Outfitter provides guide service for a variety of adventures in southwestern Montana. Spring bear hunting in May and June. Float and wade fishing the Big Hole River and Beaverhead River, June, July, August and September. Horseback trips to spectacular alpine lakes for fishing or sightseeing by the day or overnight, July and August. Big Game hunting; elk and deer, (archery) September (rifle) October and November. We are a small family operation that prides itself in our flexibility to your wishes and giving you the best of service possible.

The closest airport to Pioneer Outfitter is in Butte, Montana. Let us know your schedule and we'll take care of you from there. Butte is about 45 miles from our place. Of course, if you're driving, take Interstate 15 from Butte south to Divide, or from Dillon north to Divide, then west on Highway 43 to Wise River. Pioneer Outfitter is only four miles further west of Wise River.
