Since 1979 Montana High Country Tours has been providing folks the most personalized, comfortable and quality MONTANA experience possible. We offer year-round guide service to MONTANA'S best fishing, horseback riding, hunting, and snowmobiling.
Your choice of activities include fly or light tackle trout fishing, river float trips, horseback trail rides, back country pack trips, trophy archery or rifle big game hunts, waterfowl hunting and snowmobile and clothing rentals. During the summer months, we specialize in affordable customized family vacations and Lewis and Clark activities.
We are located in the Grasshopper Valley of southwest MONTANA. Out our back door we have nearly a half million acres of MONTANA'S most pristine back country. If you are looking for that special experience in a true outdoor setting away from the hectic pace and crowds any time of the year, MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY TOURS will tailor a trip you will never forget.
Our newly constructed 14,000 square foot guest lodge has large comfortable guest rooms with private bathrooms. Huge, great room with attached dining room. Guest enjoy TV lounge, computer/phone/fax room, game room, hot tub and sauna, and covered porch with incredible views of the Pioneer Mountains and Grasshopper Valley.

Driving Directions
The Montana High Country Guest Lodge is located 35 miles northwest of Dillon on the south end of the Pioneer Mountain National Scenic Byway. Take Montana Highway 278 to the Pioneer Mountain National Scenic Byway, then north 7.5 miles to ranch entrance.
