Holter Lake Recreation Area
Holter Lake Recreation Area is located in west central Montana near Helena. It is in an open, grassy area near the shore of Holter Lake surrounded sparsely by wooded hills. There is a prairie dog town just down the road and food service within close proximity. This site is available for day use and overnight camping. There is a boat launch, fish cleaning station, picnic tables and fire rings. Fees are normally charged from the second week in May through the third week in October.
