Madison River Haven

The Madison River Haven is one of a limited number of exclusive home sites on the 2,000 acre Sun West Ranch. 1,600 acres of the ranch is common area; it is left wild with a few dirt roads, a stocked trout pond and three miles of Madison River stream bank for guests to enjoy. With such a large piece of property it is essentially a wildlife preserve. You will likely see eagles, deer, elk, coyotes and lots of other interesting wildlife on the ranch.

Bedrooms and Baths: All four of the bedrooms in this beautiful custom built home have flat screen TVs and Direct TV, and each of the three full baths is equipped with a rainwater showerhead. The spacious master suite has one end of the home all to itself. At the entry to the suite is a small office. Inside the bedroom you'll find a king size bed, and a wall of picture windows looking out to the pond and the mountains beyond. The master bath has a claw foot tub, a large shower, and a walk-in closet. Other bedrooms on this level are accessed by a long hallway off of the great room. One of the bedrooms has a queen size bed and the other has two twin beds. Both of these rooms are positioned to have great views of the Madison River and the Gallatin Mountains, allowing guests the opportunity to see wildlife from the moment they awake. There are two bathrooms in this wing of the home. One is a half bath just off the living area. The other is a full bath with two sinks and a large stall shower. Along this wing there are also doors that open to the front patio. The home's fourth bedroom is located on the lower level. The room has a gas fireplace, two overstuffed chairs, and a bunk bed with double sized beds. This bedroom opens up to the back patio. There is an adjacent bathroom with a large stall shower.

Kitchen: You'll love this large, airy kitchen with beautiful views out to the mountain hillsides and pond below. The kitchen has absolutely everything you'll need whether you are preparing a gourmet meal or doing holiday baking. There is an island with a sink adding to the already large amount of counter space. There is a 6 burnerThermador commercial stove with a griddle and double oven. There's a warming oven, a large microwave, and oversized refrigerator. The kitchen has granite counter tops, an espresso machine, coffee maker, slow cooker, stand mixer and much more. There are two bar stools designed as saddles and a large Sony flat screen TV. A patio off the kitchen has a gas grill and outdoor seating for preparing and enjoying outdoor meals. What a great spot for entertaining - for groups both large and small!

Dining Room: The dining room has a large gas fireplace making it an inviting place to dine with family and friends. The dining table seats twelve comfortably and the dining room opens to the deck where there is additional seating.

Great Room: This stunning great room has a massive stone hearth and gas fireplace, and huge windows to take advantage of the amazing views both up and downstream on the Madison River, and all the way to the mountains in Yellowstone National Park. In one corner of the room is a game table with a checkerboard top. There's also a large HD TV and a DVD player. The highlight of the great room is an incredible custom antique bar, with everything you'll need for entertaining.

Billiards Room and office: In addition to a beautiful billiards table, the game room has the largest television in the home, three oversized chairs, a stone fireplace, and large glass doors opening to the back patio. There is also an office on this lower level with a 8 Guests

Outdoor Amenities: This home has plenty of outdoor space with a covered front porch running the full length of the home. There is a deck off the kitchen and dining area with the gas grill and outdoor seating. The huge back patio has two picnic tables and seating around an inviting fire pot. There is also an open-air gazebo that houses a hot tub with magnificent views.

Setting, acreage, views: From the home you have an incredible view of the beautiful open country surrounding you on the ranch, the Madison River below, and the mountains beyond, some of which are on the border of Yellowstone National Park. This home is nestled on 6 acres within the 2,000-acre Sun West Ranch, in the middle of the Madison Valley, between the towns of Ennis and West Yellowstone, Montana. It's truly a magical spot!
