Butte Mineral & Gem Show
Butte Mineral and Gem Club admission is $3.50 and will be held at the Civic Center. Vendor displays, rock and gem collecting equipment, rocks, fossils, gems and minerals for sale. Silent auctions, door prizes and raffles will be held throughout the days. Sapphire, garnet sifting and other activities for children will be available. Grab bags of polished and unpolished stone will be for sale. Instructors from the Mineral Museum, Montana Tech Bureau of Mining and Geology and others will give 45 minute talks about different aspects of minerals and gems.
People with RVs - dry camping available in the parking lot. There will be some day tours of the area for rock collecting. Concessions will be available as well as a grocery and drug store are across the street. There is a family restaurant with moderate prices in the same location. The host hotel will be the Copper King (406)494-6666. It is 4 miles away from the venue. There are several other motels closer but nothing within walking distance.

Directions
Butte Mineral & Gem Show will be held at the Butte Civic Center, 1240 Harrison. Leave I-90 at exit 127 to Harrison Avenue North. Drive through 5 stop lights. After Grand Avenue, Civic Center is east (right) side of Harrison across from Albertson's.
Lots of parking area. RVs park in the back.
