Powell County Demolition Derby
The Powell County Chamber of Commerce Demolition Derby is an annual even designed to excite and thrill thousands. Drivers are dedicated to destruction of all competitor's cars. Smashed beyond recognition is the bottom line. Fun and prize money is the goal. A junkyard owner's dream. This is a fund raiser for the Chamber of Commerce but also involves $3,000.00 in prize money for the competitors. This is an exciting and popular three to four hours of entertainment for spectators and competitors alike.

Directions
The Powell County Demolition Derby will be held at the Tri-County Fairgrounds. From the north take I-90 exit 184, from the south take exit 187. The fairgrounds are at the north end of Main Street.
