We carry canoes and recreational kayaks with all the accessories necessary for Montana's lakes and river. In the winter, we have all your snow needs including cross-country skis and snowshoes.
To find your way around, The Base Camp has an extensive map and book selection. Our staff is also very knowledgeable on the surrounding areas and current conditions. We also teach classes in rock climbing, cross-country skiing, and canoeing.

Driving Directions
You can reach The Base Camp in Helena from Interstate 15 by taking the Prospect Avenue exit. Travel west on Prospect to Montana Avenue, turn left at the light and proceed to Broadway, turn right, continue to the downtown area. Find us on the left side of Broadway just before the T intersection.
