Western Rendezvous of Art
The 31st annual Western Rendezvous of Art features 55 of the nation's premier artists, members of the Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists (NWR) and invited guest artists. The 2009 Rendezvous opens at 10am at the Red Lion Colonial Inn. Events include a gallery art exhibit; Thursday evening barbecue at the Montana Historical Society; two free seminars Friday afternoon, artists' gala awards banquet. Saturday has two events: the popular Quick Draw and Auction, with complimentary brunch at the historic Sieben Ranch and the exciting Saturday night fixed price sale of the exhibited art. Rendezvous concludes Sunday Morning with brunch, last chance art sale, art pick up and one final chance to visit informally with artists, new and old friends.
The show is popular with artists and patrons for the high caliber of original art and the hospitality of the sponsors. Tickets are sold in advance for all events except the seminars, which are free and open to the public. There are ample opportunities to mingle informally with participating artists during the four day event. We encourage advance ticket purchase because some of the events sell out.
This annual show is presented by the Montana Historical Society and features the work of the Northwest Rendzvous Group of Artists. Proceeds fund Montana Historical Society projects.

The Western Rendezvous of Art main events will take place at the Red Lion Colonial Inn, located at the corner of Colonial and 11th Avenue in Helena. The Thursday evening Bar-b-Que is held at the Montana Historical Society, 225 North Roberts, just east of the State Capitol. The Quick Draw and Auction will be held at the historic Sieben Ranch exit 216 off I-15.
