Western Rendezvous of Art

The 34th annual Western Rendezvous of Art features some of the nations' premier contemporary artists40 members of the Northwest Rendezvous Group of Artists (NWR) and 8 invited guest artists. The Rendezvous opens Thursday, August 16 at 10 a.m. at the Red Lion Colonial Hotel in Helena. Events include a gallery art exhibition and sale; Thursday evening event at the Montana Historical Society; Friday art seminar and tour; Friday evening artists' reception and awards banquet; popular Saturday Quick Draw and Auction at the historic Sieben Ranch; exciting Saturday night fixed price art sale; and concludes Sunday morning, August 19, with the Last Chance Art Sale and artist farewell.

The Rendezvous is known for the high caliber of original art, opportunities to meet the artists and collectors, and for the hospitality of the entire Helena community. ickets are sold in advance for all events - individually or by a discounted all-event pass (see www.westrendart.org). We encourage advanced ticket purchase as some events sell out. Tickets are also available on site to view the Rendezvous Art Show. The Friday art seminar is free and open to the public. There will be occasions to mingle informally with the artists throughout the four days of Rendezvous events.

The annual Western Rendezvous of Art is presented by the Montana Historical Society and benefits the MHS art acquisition fund and art programs.
