Welcome to McAllister, Montana

McAllister is situated near Ennis Lake and was named after the McAllister family, who were local ranchers who settled in the area in 1871. The first church was built in 1887and is still presently used. The first post office was established in 1902 with Davis Lindsay as postmaster.
